Seven Days in Cape Town
By Sean Fraser

When I think back on my first vacation in Cape Town (one week) I’m reminded of lots of time in the passenger seat of our car - usually stuck in traffic - hauling from one end of the city to the other to get some sightseeing done. Before you know it, your day’s gone - with maybe 3 out of 100 boxes ticked off on your to-do list. This city can be hectic.

Fortunately, help is here: Sean Fraser’s ‘Seven Days in Cape Town’ provides detailed itineraries that fit all of Cape Town’s big attractions into a weeks’ worth of well-eventful one-day tours. Each section is carefully mapped and includes detailed lists of popular destinations for shopping, wining, dining and all the must-sees.

It also describes multi-day excursions to the out-lying gems of the Cape - which perfectly complete the journey.

I think ‘Seven Days in Cape Town’ is a fantastically comprehensive and contemporary guide to discovering the massive Mother City. You definitely won’t get lost, and I’m going to keep this one very, very close on my next visit to Kaapstad. So should you. (Liesa Belling)
